Do you have a burning question that you long to bring to God? Are you feeling a call to deepen your prayer life, and to see what action that might lead to? Have you been experiencing a longing to discern God’s will more keenly in your life?
If so, Bring Your Question To God is for you!
The Rev Nicola Brown (St Mary’s, Cottingham) and myself (Sam Donaldson, SEARCH) will be hosting this five week course, designed to help you pray with a question that's on your heart, using the ancient Christian prayer practice of "Lectio Divina" or "sacred reading".
The course dates are as follows:
- Tues 18th June (7-9pm)
- Tues 25th June (7-9pm)
- Tues 2nd July (7-9pm)
- Tues 9th July (7-9pm)
- Tues 16th July (7-9pm)
The five gatherings will happen at St Mary’s Church in Cottingham. After each gathering Nicola will also lead a Compline service, to which all are welcome. Throughout the course, participants will be encouraged to spend some time daily, in prayer and reflection.
