Good morning

The Heart for Hull team has been joined by Rosemary Baxter as our Administrator working Wednesdays and Thursdays. She worships at AST, Derringham Bank and we are delighted to have her with us. One of her responsibilities will be to help create the Heart 4 Hull website and start sharing more regular updates through Facebook and Instagram.

A reminder of key dates:

12 March at 10.30am. Bishop Eleanor will lead a service of Blessing at Carmelite House, Posterngate. It provides valuable office space for Hull Minster and we hope in time it can be offered more widely to the Deanery for city centre meetings.

20 March starting 12.30pm at Jubilee Church - ecumenical Church Leaders Gathering to look at the opportunity for a city wide Prayer Campaign in late Aug & Sep as Coldplay give their concerts and perform their song 'We Pray'.

28 March running 7pm to 9pm - Lord's Prayer Tour, led by Archbishop Stephen Cottrell, finishes at Hull Minster. Use the link to book your place.

13 May running 6.15pm to 9pm - Children & Young People's workshop. Open to all. Please keep the date free. Venue and programme outline will follow soon.

Save the Date 15 May running 10am to 3pm - join Alan Hirsch (Australian author and thought leaders in the missional church movement) for a 'Faith in the North Day' as he helps us consider afresh how to keep our eyes locked on Jesus. (More details to follow).

Both events are raising funds to restore their beautiful Victorian Church Clock. 

Accessible Prophecy Course -  “A Jesus-Shaped Prophetic Ministry for the Church and the World”. Bishop Eleanor has secured the support of the Diocese of York to run this exciting 5 session course open to all members of Hull Deanery churches. Cath Livesey, who oversees prophetic ministry at St Thomas's Church Sheffield, will deliver the course with team support. It will start in autumn 2025. More details to follow.
